William J. Kovatch, Jr. is an attorney and a father of three. He is also currently fighting cancer. William J. Kovatch, Jr. holds a JD, an LL.M. in Transnational Law and a Masters degree in Comparative Politics. He spent ten years in private practice representing clients with immigration issues. His practice included arguments before immigration courts in Virginia, Washington State, Miami, New York and North Carolina. He also made appearances involving immigration issues before the Virginia Supreme Court, the Fourth Circuit and the Sixth Circuit. Prior to that, Mr. Kovatch worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce in the Office of Chief Counsel for Import Administration. He has made appearances before the World Trade Organization, NAFTA bi-national panels, and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
